Overview

This project is for the replacement of the existing structure that carriers Lake Gordon Road over Evitts Creek in Bedford County.  The existing concrete encased steel I-beam, bridge will be replaced with a 1 span composite prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge and includes minor roadway approach work, guide rail upgrades and other miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved drawings.  This project is located approximately 630′ downstream of the Lake Gordon Dam and approximately 6 miles north of the City of Cumberland Maryland.
