Overview

This project provides for the replacement of an existing single span steel wide flange beam bridge over the Turnpike with a two-span steel plate girder bridge and roadway approach.  The work also includes side road work on Water Works Road and Snyder Street, construction and removal of a temporary roadway and bridge, traffic signal improvements, and installation of a dynamic message sign (DMS). Milepost 110.12 is located approximately 0.25 miles east of the Somerset Interchange, Exit 110, and 36 miles west of the Bedford Interchange, Exit 146, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
